since I get netflix and all kinds of multiple GB downloads via wifi all the time and ran all kinds of speed & other tests trying to solve the problem. I tested my wifi downloading ability, that was def not the problem, it's gotta be something to do w/ the product manager settings. This must be a flaw with the product manager app or something, since when I plugged via a USB ethernet adapter directly into the LAN input of the router I immediately got 1MB+/sec with a steady connection and downloaded the core library in under 8 hours. an entire day downloading got me less than 2GB downloaded. The download would start up for a minute, reach a peak of 200-500kb/sec, then drop to zero, where it would stay for minutes. I was getting 200kb/sec or less w/ wifi where i normally get 3MB/sec via wifi.Įven when the laptop was sitting next to the antenna of the router.
